The pack is currently throughgoing playtesting to find and fix bugs and crashes as well for balancing purposes. Feel free to play and test the pack yourself or with your friends. But be aware that updates may or may not corrupt your saves. Report bugs and crashes or mention feature and change requests here.
It is recommended to allocate at least 2 GB of memory in the launcher settings and to use the latest version of Java. This will ensure a stable gameplay and faster loading times. The first time you start the pack, it may need longer than the following times.
Evolved Galaxy is a Minecraft modpack based on Minecraft 1.12.2. It is centered around the steps it needs to get yourself, and maybe some of your friends in multiplayer as well, to space to discover new galaxies with plenty of new planets. But be aware of the hazards that will await you on some planets, you better prepare yourself before going on a flight.

There are three additional server-side only mods.

We ship our own resourcepack for the modpack, to enable features like the custom loading screen on startup. It does not contain textures for the game or mods. Feel free to create your own resourcepack for our modpack and share it with us via our Discord. It is always recommended to keep our shipped resourcepack on top, even if you want to use your custom made one. Otherwise some features wont work as intended.
We provide a Docker image for you to set up the server on your own infrastructure. You can either use the prebuilt image from Dockerhub or the Dockerfile from its Repository to build the image yourself. When doing so, you can specify the desired version via the build argument, as described following.
$ docker build . -t evg --build-arg "VERSION=1.27.0+274"
It is recommended to use the provided docker-compose.yml config to set up the container. Furthermore it contains all ports and volumes that should be bound.
