The Halsion Reach Nation Project originated from a deceptively simple idea, spawned, if you will pardon the pun, from a now defunct modded server and pack, which was dubbed "Metrobuild". Since the Age of 1.7.10's Dusk, evidence of the server and even the pack have vanished from the internet.
However, in 2021, I had a burst of nostalgia and went looking for it. When I didn't find it, I thought, "Why not create a legacy worthy of its goal?" Metrobuild had a single, built up city, and from there you would take a train into the wilderness and build your own base. But what if we took the idea further? A whole nation in Minecraft. And thus the Halsion Reach Nation Project was born.
Work has been slow on developing the world, partly due to my being a solo builder, and partly a lack of advertising. However, the goal is not short term; Rome was not built in a day, and neither will the Halsion Reach be. With each new Settlement, the world will grow, becoming ever more rich with communities and stories to tell. And even if Settlements fall, their abandoned remnants will still add to the world. Perhaps a new group will revive the Settlements, or they might be simply left as time capsules, dedicated to those who once worked the businesses and occupied the homes.
But this is just one of two servers and packs we have to offer; If you prefer a more... Wild world to try to tame, we also have Halsion Reach: Primeval. Both servers are the Project, though Aevum Terra is the more accessible of the two, from both a gameplay and a technical standpoint.
No matter which you choose to inhabit, our message is the same: Welcome to Halsion Reach, Nomad... Are you ready to make your mark on this world?
