If the Minecraft client launches, but does not respond, then wait a minute or two. It has been known to do this throughout multiple launches.
For those of you having trouble with LAN worlds ("Internal Server Error"), I have a fix:
1)Go into your modpack files in your .technic folder (same place you'll find .minecraft) and go into the modpacks folder. After that, go into the its-a-big-world-out-there folder.
2)Go into the mods folder and cut the Thaumcraft mod file and paste it into somewhere you can get it later. Do the same thing with the Thaumcraft config file.
3)Start the modpack. Go into a singleplayer world. You should get a message saying that some files/items are missing. It will ask if you want to remove them. Click Yes. The world should start successfully.
4)Exit out and go back into the modpack folder. Cut and paste the Thaumcraft mod and config files into their respective folders.
5)Run the modpack and everything should be fixed.

To adjust/customize the Better HUD Mod, press the default key "U". This can be changed in controls under Miscellaneous.
