I've put together a low-tech, low-RAM, adventuring and magic pack for the Ars Magica and Witchery lovers! Muds Magic 2 has the addition of Natura and Gany's Nether, it is updated to include the very latest version of Witchery, an amazing new Twighlight Forest, and I have changed a few configs to make things more rewarding. This pack has minimised 'grind' to get your magical supplies, while still providing some challenges, and loads of dungeons and battle towers.
Keep Inventory! The Gravestone mod and Mapwriter ensure quick teleportation and retrieval of your inventory, even in survival mode, without console cheats!
Variety! Tinkers Construct, Pams Harvestcraft, Natura and Bibliocraft give variety. Archimedes ships let you fly, or once your witching is advanced enough, you can fly on the magic broom, or even in bat mode as a vampire.
Looting! Three dungeon generating mods, the pirate treasure mod, and Reliquary make for lots of looting and mobs to practice your magic on, while Gany's Nether makes the Nether a rewarding and profitable place to spend your time.
Just A Little Tech! Tired of sorting your stuff? Try out extra utilities sorting pipes, and mod sorting pipes. Just come home, and empty your backpack into the dump chest, and let the pipes do the work.
Farm the Nether! Check out the Gany's Nether mod spotlights to see why this mod works so well with Witchery. Grow your own wither skulls? Create spawn eggs? Yes please!
PERSONAL NOTE:
I made this modpack for a magical adventure world, that wasn't cluttered up by Thaumcraft ores and Botania plants that I never used. If you want those two magic mods, there are plenty of other magic packs out there offering them, such as the challenging and fun "Natural Magic" pack. For me, those mods just didn't reward me enough for the effort required.
