Install Pentagram

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Pentagram) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Pentagram from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

- Spellblades Monkey Staff disabled in loot spawns (you can use it in creative mode tho if you want, its not broken or anything, just doesn't fit with the current loot tables)

~ Origins Update v2 ~

- Origin races once again changed to a different origin mod called Animal Origins.
- Animal Origins mod has been highly configured to be more balanced, grammatically correct, and more clarified.

~ MISC UPDATES ~

- Removed JourneyMap
- Creeper Overhaul mod removed. The creepers did the same functionally just different appearance. Origins also did not function well with it.
- Voxelmap mod added, which is also highly configured, so please don't tamper with it. It is configured to be "fair-play".

~ THE SEASONS UPDATE ~

The point of the seasons mod now is to be cosmetically immersive and also to not mess with crops.

- New World Map (JourneyMap), Xaeros was too buggy. Introducing the mega-ly configured Journeymap, so please don't mess with it!
- Fabric Seasons do not mess with crops now, so you can get back to farming crops just the way you like it.
- Calendar is now needed to see the seasons.
- Snow! Real Magic! mod has been added, Snow is MUCH more realistic now. Should also work with Terralith biomes.
- Immersive Snow mod is now added.
- Snow Under Trees mod is added.

~ ORIGINS UPDATE ~
- Changed Origin mod once again. Hard to find a balanced one, sorry lol
- Added OriginFurs
- Added Mob Origins
- Added Extra Origins

~ MISC UPDATES ~
- Why Stacks of 16? mod removed
- SimplySwords loot rates massively nerfed

GRAND RELEASE!

~ The Balancing Update pt.1 ~

~ EXTRA ARROWS ~
- Removed custom fletcher trades to prevent OP arrows from being circulated
- Removed Diamond/Netherite arrows as they were exceeding 150 damage per second
- Removed a lot of the useless arrows as they provided no gameplay qualities, just useless filler

~ SIMPLYSWORDS ~
- All weapons have been reverted to default values
- Arcanethyst removed
- Icewhisper removed
- New weapons added from the new Simply Swords update!

~ MOD CHANGES ~
- MCDA has been removed. Caused conflicts with other mods and was just in general, unbalanced.
- Added Origins Races
- Added Mythic Mounts
- Mine Cells mod has been removed
- When Dungeons Arise mod has been removed
- Scorched mod has been removed

We're nearing the finished product bois, big update tonight.

~ QUIVERS ~
- Quivers are now a more balanced size
- Quiver hud is now just below the seasons of the world, was originally overlapping. Unfortunately, the quiver mod has a really messy configuration for it's hud, so this was the best compromise, anywhere else just doesn't work how I want it to

~ ARCHER CLASS ~
- Slightly nerfed ranger and archer armor defense stat, reason for this was because it was an insanely cheap diamond armor alternative. Archer set is now the middle ground of leather/chainmail armor, ranger set is now slightly better than an iron set, instead of equivalent to Diamond. Sorry tank archers. :(


~ MOD CHANGES ~
- Armor set bonuses removed, forgot to remove this in a past update
- Potentially fixed the "staying in game too long" memory leak by enabling a fix in ModernFix
- Enabled "Dynamic Resources" in ModernFix. If this causes problems it will be disabled in the next update.
- Removed "Curse of Corrosion"
- Removed Infinity Caves as it wasn't compatiable with the current generation set up, plus it created unwanted effects and items, such as the infamous poison "glitch" (which wasn't a glitch, just a dumb feature) since the first release of this modpack. Thank god that's gone.

~ QOL ~

- Added Drip Sounds
- Added CTOV compatabilities
- Added new mob particles
- Added Chat heads
- Added Cave dust

SKILL TREES HAVE BEEN ADDED! Delve into the world with a (somewhat) looking pentagram-based skill tree. Enjoy! Cap is Level 24 by the way.

Classes Available: Warrior, Spellblade, Fire Mage, Frost Mage, Arcane Mage, Ranger, Paladin, Priest (and maybe more if you can find out craft combos)...

- Removed Endersoul Hand, Creeper Shard, Conjunctivius's Tentacle, and Sand Bane, as they did not work with BetterCombat
- Added Quivers
