Hello! I'm having the hardest time viewing my pokemon's stats after installing this mod. I remember I have to open my inventory and view my pokemon there, but when I open my inventory it just shows the options of things I can currently make and no pokemon. Am I missing something really simple here?
When you press E to open your inventory, you should get a little sidebar to the left where you can see your Pokémon and their held items. If you right-click a Pokémon, you can check their stats through the menu that pops up.

That's what I mean when I open my inventory and view my pokemon there but it's not showing that. I guess it's safe to assume this is a bug and I can't edit my pokemon in any way without it being fixed? :(
I can show you screenshots to show you what I mean.
WAIT I found out if you click the book it minimizes the inventory to the original screen! And the Pokemon appeared!

can you add a mini map mod?
i'm having trouble i was trying to get Giratina since i already got Arceus and has it changed how to get him because i've the the red chain and the Griseous orb but it doesn't allow me to put the red chain or the orb on the timespace altar i don't understand i watched a tutorial on this and i did exactly as it told me but it doesn't work please help
The Red Chain event may be broken, for the time being. A few people have reported that in 6.3.2. There should be a patch out soon!

Hello, I just updated (7/8/2018) to 6.3.2 (both single player and server) and noticed a few bugs that might be noteworthy:
- Timespace Altar no longer responds to the red chain.
- Pokémon is not visible during battle.
- When fighting air type Pokémon, trainers now fall (die if too high) after the battle.

Thanks for the reports! I think the Timespace Altar issue was known, but I'll have to double check that later. I'll also check the other few, see if I can reproduce those. If I can, I'll copy them over to the internal bug tracker.
I've just put up a report for the Timespace Altar issue (as there wasn't one up yet). I can't confirm the Pokémon visibility issue -- seems to work here. Was this up real close, by any chance? Optifine has a known incompatibility with fights that are really close to the player, but it should work at a distance of a few blocks. I can also not confirm the flying issue, as it seems to just put me on the ground when I win. Are there any specific steps to reproduce that, and was this done in singleplayer or on a server?
Yes, they appeared very close during battles. It seems to vary based on the pokemon used.
As for the flying issue, I tested single player but the issue appears only in a server.
If the falling issue only happens on a server, it may be worth testing on another server or on a clean local setup. Might be worth putting this in the Discord, also.
why dont most servers work in 6.3.2 rn?
It usually takes them a little bit to update, as they need to get everything ready for the move. Considering 6.3.2 is mostly a patch, I'd expect most of them to move over very quickly.

- The money spent is discounted, but the counter is not negative.
- The Pokémon is invisible during the fight.

Thanks for the reports! Both bugs are known, and should be fixed in 6.3.2 when that comes out. I'll pass along the suggestion.
Is there a source for the updated spawn rates anywhere? i'm pretty sure the current ones in the wiki are inaccurate. take the deep ocean for instance. ive had (over like 200 ingame days) plenty of Lanturn spawning, which are supposed to be 0.1...% but on the other hand sth like horsea or wailmer, which have about a 5% chance of spawning, did in fact not spawn a single time. Either the wiki is way out of date, or the spawning system is messed up somehow. Now i know, probability and stuff, but i'm pretty sure my sample size is big enough to draw this conclusion.
The wiki is indeed outdated, planned to be updated with a script at some point in the future. For the most up-to-date data, open the mod file (the .jar) with something like 7-Zip or WinRAR, and then browse to "assets\pixelmon\spawning". You can find biome categories in the "config\pixelmon"
...did not mean to press Enter yet. But yeah, you can find the file with those categories in that folder. Same place as the "mods" and "logs" folders, there.
does that mean you are gonna update the wiki to the current spawn rates or correct the rates corresponding to the wiki? i for one liked the older, more diverse rates more, if i'm being honest; (great work on the mod anyway, what you guys have done far outweighs the critiquepoints i have; felt i had to mention that aswell :D)
Current spawns should be super diverse, since they're entirely based on the environment and which other spawns are valid nearby. They just need a bit of love on the wiki, as most of what's currently on there is still from the old system or from past revisions of the new spawner. Should all be updated soon, hopefully!
bu the new ones aren't really more diverse are they? if we use said deep ocean as an example, there are at least fifteen different ones that do not spawn anymore, if we compare it to the older rates, making the area in fact less diverse. or am i missing something here?
I see where you're coming from, the main spawn pool for some biomes did shrink a little due to the new fishing system and certain external moves now getting their own pools (Sweet Scent, Rock Smash, etc.). The Pokémon should still be there, for the most part, but you'll need to do different things to find them now. Land spawns are where the improvements should be most obvious, because there's a lot of new things in the new spawner that can affect what spawns where -- proximity to different biomes or blocks, the time of day, the weather, the temperature, height of the desired spawn position, etc. etc.. There's a lot more data for it to pull from, there.

Hey. Just want to say i love this mod so much, it's great to see it back! :)
I just have a question about the trainer editor. I see there is a feature that let's me choose a skin from a Resource pack, but I can't seem to make it work. As an example, I've tried to make a new resource pack, change the normal zombie skin, but when I try to write in 'zombie', the texture is still missing. I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to find any guides or anything on this topic. Can somebody explain to me (preferably in detail) how this is done, or post a link to where I might find instructions? I'm pretty new to this, so sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks in advance. :)
Glad to hear you like the mod! I'm not too familiar with the whole skin changing thing, but it might be worth joining the Discord (link to the right) and asking in #general-support. People there might know more -- I see discussion on this stuff quite often.
Hey, for some reason when i open minecraft, it has.. fuzzy graphics? My mouse cursor gets bigger, graphics are bad and fuzzy, i can barely read chat... can ya help?
Sounds like the game's starting up in the wrong resolution, for some reason. I don't think there's a way to change that in-game, but try pressing F11. That should take it out of fullscreen, if it's in there, which should hopefully help.
is there gyms in single player, would really like to know i have searched a lot and haven't found any
Are you on this pack, or on another? Some packs break structure generation in SP, but they should be spawning on this pack. (the official Reforged one)
Hello! As you can see, my name is Froslot and I wanted to thank you for reviving pixelmon with lots of new pokemons and items. However, I wanted to request something that has bren bothering me a lot lately and not only me since there are a lot of people complaining about this. The problem is that before you took over pixelmon after it was cancelled, the beautiful pixelmon models did not work with customNPC and I loved making my own towns with custom speaking pokemon around. I discussed this with the dev of customNPC and he said that there is something weird happening to the models because they don't move after being edited. He said that after you took over, the models stopped being animated and that saddens me a lot. Could you please find a way to correct this bug? Otherwise I have an idea; Make the chisel not only create awesome statues but also animated statues. After all I want to say thank you for your hard work and I may be asking too much but hopefully my wish will be granted!
I believe statues were due for a rewrite as a whole, but I'm not 100% on that. I'll pass this along to the team, will see if there's anything specific planned there.
From what I've been told so far, this was changed because the old system was hitting performance pretty hard. Not sure about any future plans, yet.
I just wanted to ask something...I did not play pixelmon in awhile(downloaded it again)..and when I wanted to change something in mods option (Pixelmon/config) (but for some reason spawn rate of pokemons is really low ) and I cannot find options that i had before...for example i DONT have spawning option or database,breeding,pixel utilities? My question is did they remove those options?

Pixelmon Reforged uses a new spawning system, with a new set of options. You'll have to edit the file directly, for now -- the in-game options menu is currently broken, to be fixed in 6.3.2. To do this, go to Modpack Options > Open, go up a folder and then open the "pixelmon.hocon" file in the "config" folder if you want to make changes.
Yeah i tried that but i dont have "pixelmon.hocon" file now i have "BetterSpawnerConfig" which has only names for biomes and nothing to be changed, and I downloaded it on pixelmon reforged site.Also i checked it its in Pixelmon mod folder.
The "pixelmon.hocon" file should be one folder up from where you find the BetterSpawnerConfig file, directly in "config". If it's not there, the mod generates it on startup.

I'm not sure about the error's cause, but I've seen it before. Do you have McAfee installed by any chance? That's known to cause issues with Minecraft in general. If the issue keeps up, you can try a manual install ( https://pixelmonmod.com/wiki/index.php?title=Installation ) with the download from https://www.reforged.gg/ . Join the Discord if you need further help.
I'm having trouble understanding whether this is the wiki mods problem or my servers problem or the pixelmon mod's problem however when I do the /wiki command for several pokemon such as Riolu, Dwebble, or Crustle and select for it to say the biome for these, they list every single biome and when I do time it says they spawn at no time. Are they just not in reforged yet or is this a /wiki problem?
It's shown a bit confusingly, but Dwebble and Crustle are rock smash spawns (which will work in any biome). Riolu doesn't have a spawn file, it was missed -- will be in 6.3.2. Not sure why Pixelmon Extras shows all biomes there, might be a bug.
I found a bug with the "spawn by distance" config. When it's on, all pokémons spawn in the lower lvs when you're near the spawn, including evolve pokémon. Basically you can get a lv1 Raticate if your spawnpoint was a Plains biome. Is there a way to fix it myself or I have to wait an mod uptade fixing it?
That's the purpose of the config option though, to make the levels of pokemon based on distance from the spawn, regardless of what they'd usually spawn at.
The purpose is having lvl1 evolved pokémon? I don't think you understood the problem here: It's not the level, it's the fact its an EVOLVED lv1. When the config is on, the mod just turns on "whatever" and spawn everything that would normally spawn, but low lvl. I even get lvl1 linoone. It should only spawn evolved pokémon when you reach an area where that pokémon can spawn with enough level to evolve.
Ah I get you, my bad. I can make this happen. You're not really able to deal with this yourself
Hey im playing on a server but i accidently updated the pixelmon mod but the server stayed with 6.2 is there any way to go back to an older version the technic launcher doesnt let you and if i try to just put in the older version in place of the newer one in the mods folder i keep getting a fatal error
You'd have to install to another launcher, such as the default Minecraft one. Make sure you get Forge 2655, as newer Forge builds break older Pixelmon versions. Might be good to ask the server admins to update, though -- 6.2.x is oooold!
Hello, I have 2 questions and I'm sorry if they seem really stupid. 1. What exactly is pixelmon reforged? i heard about Nintendo shutting down the original pixelmon but i had to stop playing Minecraft for awhile because my computer's power supply was fried during a power surge. Is it like the spiritual successor? 2. The mod keeps crashing before the game even gets to the title screen. It's saying it can't render the pokemon sprites and that I should try to use a different resourcepack even though I don't use a resource pack I just use the default one.

It's being worked on, but there's no set date for those Pokémon and mechanics just yet. The next version will most likely be 6.3.2, after which we'll probably either get a 6.4 (or 6.3.3 first if things go really wrong) or we'll immediately jump to 7.0 (with gen 7). Stay tuned!
I also ran into another smaller problem. I think I can do it already but I can't find out how. Since I'll have my own trainers in the map, I want to completely disable NPC spawning. I read every single config in the pixelmon config and I can't find anything to disable NPCs. I also tried using the npcs.json (or something like that), but there are only rarity configs there, no option to disable them completely. So,is there a way to disable completely NPC spawning? It don't need to be simple,just to be possible :D
I don't know too much about the way NPCs are spawned, but the people in the Discord should know more. There's a link to the right, put your questions in #spawner-support and with a bit of luck the people there will know more.

I REALLY appreciated the mega ring command,this will be a massive help in my map-making. But I ran into a new problem: For my map to be good,I need to use custom skins that I made. No problem with using my custom skins in trainers cause of the resoucepack thing,but I also need custom skin for chat npcs. May sound small,but my map would be COMPLELTEY another thing with custom NPCs with custom skins,I can use anything from original pokemon characters to my own characters. So please,add this feature (if possible,add it to every single type of NPC in the NPC editor,I really think this should be a feature since the NPC editor was added)
