How do I get a friend to join me, or join a friends world

you can download the server (upper right of page) and host it on your home internet router so that your friend can play with you from his house. there are articles out there for how to do this.

Hey, its an awesome pack. Just one thing: could you make it to where you can synthesize silicon with minechem along with lithium, as they are very tedious to come by and you need a crap ton to do anything

version 019 released that has a recipe to make silicon with minechem. lithium was not added due to not needing as much of it as silicon, so you will need to mine lithium still
version 018a was released which is a client side only update. this will make starting a new game less dangerous for the first minute or so at least. also made some performance tweaks

this is because you are in creative mode when you try to use them. safari nets only work in survival mode (quit cheating hehe)

Someone should make a basic tip starter for some of the people new to the pack. Step one. wait and load. Step 2 make sure nothings around to kill you. Step three build a hole home. Step 4 wait for death
it is a difficult pack, maybe one of the most difficult ever. it is a little bit 7 Days to Die, a little bit Crash Landing.
i have an old PC and don't care if it turns into a sauna in here but im gonna use it to host a permanent server for Prometheus: Rising. I will update this to see if it worked
No doubt in my mind that I'm going to be scared shitless when I start this up. Very few things could do that. I applaud you.

To sum up what happened to me when I spawned;
Spawned on a mountain. Profusely looked up into the other planet above and screamed "OH SHIT" before looting nearby crash site for M4 parts and other... things that I didn't know what to do with at the time. Looked down in (what appears to be) a valley of a sort to get some Jungle wood. Flipped my shit profusely because I noticed I was alone. After getting 5 blocks of logs and making a workbench, I was attacked from behind by a... Hammerpede, was it? The thing that slides on the ground with the 7-8 tentacles? Anyway, I screamed profanities at the top of my lungs for most of the fight and had successfully killed it by spamming the flamethrower. I tried to grab the Royal Jelly it dropped but was killed by its acidic blood. After that, I decided to try and make a home and oh my god what the hell are those flying things. Then outta nowhere, I gotten ripped apart by a (fairly) small (but horrifying) alien - it seemed liked it was a newborn, so this coulda been easy, I hoped. Recognized that the flamethrower is a valued friend. I looked up and saw that the flying... things... were being attacked by... those... crawling snake-like things (I'm sorry - I have no idea how to differentiate these creatures from each other). I let them kill the thing, and head on to murder the small monsters. Completely freaked out, I spammed the flamethrower and was shocked to find a Predator's skull. That's when I stopped for a while. Don't get me wrong - I love playing it; it's just I'll be terrified 24/7 when playing it (if not on crea- nevermind, found out that is scary as well). That being said, you done a perfect job!

im getting a texture error with all the chisel blocks not rendering and im able to see through the world with them we need a fix on this
reinstall the pack please i tested in both Mac and Windows and no issue with chisel blocks
Every time I go to download the pack, it comes up with the error "failed to download http://libraries.minecraft.net/org/scala-lang/scala-xml_2.11/1.0.2/scala-xml_2.11-1.0.2.jar"

its on the Technic side of things. the weekends they get attacked a lot and cant serve resources. just reinstall pack and play
is there any avy servers? because i'd like to play on one.

Prometheus Rising has been remastered. New monsters, quest fixes, bug fixes and a scarier atmosphere await!

Hey, I was just wondering what service you used to set up the server for the "Promethues Rising" gameplay I saw on Ulandoses channel? I am looking to start my own server with the mod pack installed.

I used DemonVPS, but not sure how impressed I was.. they had good prices though and I had a discount coupon.
Which package did you use? @GLIXYL, I am just wanting something to play with a handful of friends and run into as little problems as possible. I've never ran a server before so this would be a first.
their standard++ package with 4GB RAM should suffice for the server
Hi,
I cant craft tactical armor. The crafting formula states using aluminum ingots (4955) while tinkers makes aluminum ingots (4391:11). I guess the crafting table does not allow for using tinkers aluminum.
Is there any way to get around that?

from what i read of AVP mod you can only make stuff with the AVP ores and not other modded ores unless it was re coded for the compatibility of other ores.
cant run it at the recommenced version, something is wrong with rar extraction or smthn
