This is the big one! New terrain, ore, dimension, and biome generation has been added and changed, and some mods have been removed which will affect your world. BACK UP YOUR WORLDS BEFORE UPDATING to 2.0.0!

Voltz Engine, Atomic Science, MFFS, and ICBM-Classic have been removed due to incompatibility and no longer fitting the mod pack's needs.

Some additions have been added to IC2 (Advanced Machines, Compact Solars, Nuclear Control + custom sounds) to improve quality of life and to emulate Tekkit's functionality, Power Converters to convert between all types of power, Portal and Gravity guns, Wawla for additional info on both Client and Server. OpenComputers has been added for additional computer options alongside ComputerCraft, Extra Planets have been added to Galacticraft and add a whole range of planets, and 7 additional tiers of rockets. RFTools has been added to give players the opportunity to use their endgame RF Power towards creating custom dimensions. Chisel has been added for aspiring builders who want more options with decorating their builds.
Ore generation has been changed so that only IC2 and Thermal Expansion will generate mod metals, and the spawn rate has been tweaked to spawn 2x more than normal. Vanilla materials have been tweaked for increased spawn rates with the exception of Diamond which has remained the same.

And at last, Project E! This mod is a re-creation of Equivalent Exchange 2 from 1.2.5 (featured in Tekkit) and is a 100% faithful recreation using original textures. Most base vanilla and mod items have been assigned an EMC value, and additional EMC values can be added via commands or modifying the config files.

Continuing with QoL, Controlling has been added. Controlling is a mod that lists available keys for assignment, and pressing CTRL should display all conflicting keys. Better Foliage has been added to beautify the world and is supported in the update texture patch. BF is entirely client-side and features can be changed via the menu by pressing 'F8'. The server software has now been ported to Thermos (a fork of Cauldron), and now supports plugins and reloading the server while it is running.
