Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.
Type in the modpack name (Science Forge) or paste the following url into the search box.
Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Science Forge from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

For the sake of permission, OptiFine is not featured in this mod pack but I highly recommend installing it for a performance boost. OptiFine can be downloaded at http://optifine.net, and once downloaded simply add it to the 'mods' folder found in .technic/modpacks/science-forge/mods/
If you run into any performance issues, try disabling mipmaps and decreasing the render distance - 1.7 Minecraft sends textures in a single pipeline which hits quite hard when a lot of mods are installed.
