lets just stick to getting the pack working first
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
never said we shouldn't just keeping the ball rolling here
Posted by minecraftjunky69 8 years ago
in that case, might as well add in extra utilities... and for more chaos add blood moon
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
minecraftjunky69: Honestly never heard of it, but sounds cool. I'll definitely check it out. I love the Applied Energistics 2 ME stuff, works really well with Flaxbeard's Steam Power too, if you're into that stuff. I actually already included it in the current version, along with immersive engineering which plays well with it too and gives me the feeling of working in a semi-futuristic warehouse lol in a good way.. Thanks for the suggestions :) ChironTheCentaur: (Awesome username btw) I'll def include extra utilities in the next update, I love that one. Idk which mod adds it honestly, but there is a blood moon in the pack already, as spiders and skeletons by the dozens showed me the ways of the dark side with maximum hostile intent the other day. I'll have to find out which mod it is so I can tell people where to go to configure it, sense it's hidden away pretty well. Thanks for the suggestions :)

Random Things mod is what's causing blood moons now.

Posted by Gryph0nnn 8 years ago | Modpack Creator
has it worked?
minecraftjunky69 8 years ago
i dont have the resources right now to redirect all of the mods through bspkrsCore : [1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.15
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
in that case, might as well add in extra utilities... and for more chaos add blood moon

^woops wrong comment
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
From what im seeing, since you have two of the same mod that the other mods are loading off of, they are tripping over each other and in order for it to work, you must remove one and rout the rest of the mods through the same one. bspkrsCore : [1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.15.jar is the one that it initially starts off of
ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
I'm just spit balling ideas in this post, but wouldn't that just stop the modpack from loading, not dl? Idk, which is why I ask, I'm still a noob lol but I'll fix it anyways. Thanks for the info :)
Posted by Gryph0nnn 8 years ago | Modpack Creator
should be able to remove one and the modpack should work
ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
testing right now
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
the mod problems are with bspkrsCore : 1.7.10_bspkrsCore-universal-6.15.jar and what looks to be a duplicate of it bspkrsCore : [1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.15.jar

hey gryph0nn, if you intend to host a server for this pack, id be glad to help, i've run my own server for a while have been admin on 3 (2 op) and have been mod on one other.
ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
Thanks, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Idk when or if I'll get one going, but it is a goal, so we'll see. Thanks :)

still haven't got it working?
minecraftjunky69 8 years ago
seems like its dling fr me, at 58%
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
I know this may seem backward, but anyone who has ideas, please share them. I'd love to give them a try while waiting for support to get back to me. I've tried everything I can think of.
Gryph0nnn 8 years ago
what mods did you add that might of caused the problem?
minecraftjunky69 8 years ago
The list is in the changelog tab under 1.2. The weirdest part is that if I upload a backed up version of the pack with a new dl link, the same error appears but with the new dl link.
Posted by Gryph0nnn 8 years ago | Modpack Creator
I've narrowed it down to a compression conflict, but without being the one who compressed the mods themselves, I'm having to remove a mod, re-upload, download and repeat until I find the correct mod. Working on setting up a temp link to revert it back to last version. I honestly don't know why I didn't think to do that sooner...

also I heard a lot of people use solder for their pack hosting
minecraftjunky69 8 years ago
pretty true
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
Solder requires a server to be set up at all times which I don't have the money to create or rent unfortunately. I would really like to soon, but until the budget plays nice I can't do it. Same for servers... But hopefully soon.

well if you say its ok....... Chromaticraft(colors=power)(also good amount of world genning) giacomos fishing net(you said you like your food) shadowcraft(cool darkness themed cloaks and stuff) advanced genetics(flight and stuff) morph(comes in handy) there now im done suggesting :)
minecraftjunky69 8 years ago
Hahaha, yes please, bring it on lol I will take a look at them, thanks for all the suggestions :)

Will you post once it has been fixed?
ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
Definitely, I will keep everyone informed. I forgot to say that, sorry.
Posted by Gryph0nnn 8 years ago | Modpack Creator
Thanks for the patience and understanding, so sorry for the inconvenience :(
Gryph0nnn 8 years ago
HOLD ON guys, sorry for the inconvenience, the .zip got corrupted when it was uploaded. Apparently copy.com thought it would be fun to merge them instead overwrite. I'm attempting to fix it right now, but I need to test the file first.
Gryph0nnn 8 years ago
Download dont work :(
SercusKan 8 years ago
Okay, thanks for letting me know, I'm on it. I use copy.com which doesn't have a download or mandwidth limit, so it must be the link.
Gryph0nnn 8 years ago
Hi, I just stumbled upon your pack and it looks really awesome, but it doesn't seem to be letting me download it. I noticed you updated it just a few minutes ago (convenient timing), so I don't know if it might because something is still updating in the servers or if you might have done something wrong (I hope not).
OptimusFR0 8 years ago
Some sites will set maximum downloads per a set time, (s)he just needs to set a new download link for us, then update our client download location
Posted by ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
Hi Optimus, sorry for the inconvenience. Seems there is something inside the mods folder that the Technic API doesn't like. File in the wrong place, wrong name, unneccasary files inside a mod .jar or .zip etc. I'm currently working on a fix for it. So sorry for the trouble.
Posted by Gryph0nnn 8 years ago | Modpack Creator
Ran out of downloads on the site... i loved playing the pack too...
ChironTheCentaur 8 years ago
Sorry for the inconvenience. It's not a DL limit, I use a host that doesn't have any dl limits or bandwidth limits. It has to be something internal either in the .zip or in a mod file. I'm currently working on it. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
