Install Sintek

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Sintek) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Sintek from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Sintek Version 1.5.5

created by Sinxar on Minecraft 1.12.2

At least 6GB of RAM dedicated to the pack is recommended. You may be able to get away with 4GB. Anything less than that on a single player world will lead to stuttering and lag.

Optifine is unsupported but it does work. If you use Optifine and find any unusual graphical glitches, try removing it. I like it for the dynamic lighting but most shader mods won't work properly with many of the included mods.

Some recipes may demand vanilla stone or cobblestone. If you cannot find a vanilla stone biome, you can craft 4 of any type of Underground Biomes cobblestone into 4 vanilla cobblestone.

Zombie Awareness is installed in this pack but it is turned down significantly. If you are getting overrun, try the Open Modular Turrets mod or getting better weapons.

Stone hardness is turned up a bit to incentivize getting better tools.

Refined Storage autocrafting jamming When creating crafting patterns, make sure that no extra products are listed in the pattern.

In this example we will use pulverized coal. This is what the pulverizer recipe looks like:

When you add this to the the pattern it will look like this:

To remove the 15% chance of sulfur, shift + right click on it to remove it from the pattern. It should look like this:

Now you can make the pattern and place it into the appropriate crafter without fear of it jamming up waiting on sulfur that will never come.
