Ghost blocks are blocks that seem to be air to the client, but are solid to the server. They occur when the server and client are out of sync; in many cases, this happens when a haste effect wears off and there's some network latency between both. The server tells the client the haste effect is gone, but the client doesn't know about this yet and sends block break events to the server at full speed. The server thinks the client is cheating so it doesn't break the blocks; the client doesn't know that so it thinks the blocks are air now. When the player tries moving into those blocks, the server kicks him back.
I've seen this most often on servers that have MCMMO enabled, when super breaker runs out, but it happens when beacon effects are ending as well.
Generally, the only way to fix this is relogging, or porting away and back, to unload and re-load the chunks. This mod asks the server to resend all blocks around the player when you type /ghost, within a 4 block radius cube, thus making relogging unneccesary. Or, just press the G key.

Basic Nether Ores spawn vanilla ores in the Nether. Simply put, this mod extends the ability for the player to mine ores and gems in the Nether giving the Nether new life and meaning. Copper and Tin ores have been added to the mod for function in other mods. Spawn rates for Nether Ores are set equal to or higher than their vanilla counterparts to make mining the Nether worthwhile. Texturing is not overdone making the player pay attention to the surrounding areas to identify Nether Ores.

Dynamic Surroundings alters the player’s visual and audible experience in Minecraft, and does not alter game mechanics. The player has a high degree of control over their experience, and modpack authors can customize biome and block effects based on their need.

This mod helps you generate the needed energy by converting from one energy type (i.e. Redstone Flux) to another (IndustrialCrafts EU). You can even convert from EU to EU... if you want to do that for some reason...

Equipment Tooltips does one thing: adds a row of icons and numbers above the tooltip for tools, swords, bows, armor, and other damageable items. Support for swords, bows, pickaxes, shovels, axes, hoes, shears, fishing rods, and more. This was previously a feature of Silent's Gems.

Exact Spawn changes the spawn mechanic of Minecraft to spawn the player at the exact X Y Z of the world spawn (similar to how spawning works in adventure mode).

This mod adds indicators to show where you got damaged from, much like in games such as Call of Duty, and Halo. The config options allow you to change stuff such as the opacity of the indicators, their fade out rate, and even whether a blue block indicator should appear if you block an attack with a shield.

It's because of the 8:1 block ratio between the Nether and the Overworld. The Beneath is a mod that adds a massive mining dimension (roughly based off of the Deep Dark from Extra Utilities, with some additions not present in that dimension). It started out as a replacement (since the Deep Dark hadn't been ported to 1.10.2 by the time this mod's development began), and can be used as one, as it's a highly configurable mining dimension.

Due to the dimensional nature of the REther signals sent in the nether will translate into the OverWorld and vice versa.

YNet is a XNet fork with some bug fixes and changes. XNet is a mod which adds a single type of cable: a networking cable. Using networking cables you can instantly transport items, fluids, energy, and information. The main focus of this mod is efficiency and flexibility. Efficiency in that it is possible to make huge cable networks (tested with two chests seperated by a cable of 12000 blocks long) with no lag. The cables themselves are not even tile entities. Flexibility in that the controller allows for really flexible configuration for distributing information.
