Hello, sorry but BluePower was removed. The modpack instead includes the ProjectRed mod.
All of the cables in IC2 that have an insulated and non-insulated version are broken. The issue is: The cables have both ore dictionary names, so insulated has: ItemCopperCable and ItemInsulatedCopperCable under the same item, this means when I put an insulated one into the transmutation table it saves under the normal copper cable not the insulated one. Happens with gold, tin and HV

Hi there! We're having an issue with Carpenter's Blocks on our server. The recipe for Carpenters Slopes (Carpenter's Blocks mod) is not registering. We are able to place it in creative, however, when we try to look up the recipe in game, it does not register as having one, and when we attempt to use the recipe from the mod's wiki, it doesn't work either.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Note: We also have this problem in single-player, and the issue persists after modpack re-install.
Yes, I am aware of this issue. When I created the modpack I added unstable release of Carpenter's Blocks, because it was still in developement. However that mod is abandoned so it is very unstable. The exist an alternative mod Blockcraftery, but I cannot simply replace the Carpenter's mod with Blockcraftery, as it would broke saved maps. So now I am stuck with dilemma if I should just replace the mod and break compatibility, or keep both mods (which I don't know how that would work)

Every cables and terminals from AE2 have a visual glitch whenever I plug them to a power source, it is very unsettling and I can't seem to install Optifine, which would be the solution to this problem. (The game just doesn't load) Do you have any idea on how to solve this and/or what is causing it? The glitch itself is purely visual, I can still access the terminals.
You said in your last update that the visuals were corrected, it does not seem to be the case. I'm adding / deleting mods left and right to find the issue and nothing works

Hello, can you please try to reinstall the modpack? (but don't forget to backup all your saves and screenshots!). The issue should indeed be fixed, but it is possible that the modpack did not update properly.
I haven't tested this modpack with optifine, so I cannot help you with that. However I don't think installing optifine will solve this visual glitch. The glitch was caused by missing texture in resource file for connected textures mod.
I'm gonna try to reinstall both server side and client side, since both my friend and I have the same problem

I also went on your repository to see if I could find the update and voila it was there. My issue is that I can't find the folder technic wants to extract this package from. If you could tell me that, it would be gold.
Hello, sorry unfortunately I cannot reproduce this error. I have deleted my .technic folder, redownloaded the launcher and the modpack has downloaded and installed normally. What is your operation system? Can you please try to download the madpack again and let me know if the problem persists?

No one can include Optifine in their modpacks unless Optifine gives them permissions to do so. If you want Optifine yourself you'll have to go on to their website and download version 1.12.2 HD U F5 and put it into the modpacks mods folder.
Wombat, adding Optifine to my files makes it so my modpack doesn't even startup, since you know it works do you know why mine just doesn't
For some reason, my game just crashes at startup. Are there any known bugs for troubleshooting this one?
Hello, please make sure you are running latest update of Java 8 (64bit!) and also make sure the modpack has assigned at least 2GB of RAM (4GB recommended).
If you still experience crashes, please send me modpack log (located in .technic/modpacks/tcr-classic-refined-112/logs/latest.log)
Just to double check, since it takes me ages to load the modpack from the technic launcher, I could just copy and paste the required mods overr to a 1.12.2 mods folder for normal MC launcher and download forge?
Hello, yes you could do that. All you have to do is copy "mods", "config", and "resources" folders and it should work. However i don't think you see any difference in loading time. By my experience the modpack takes 3-4 minutes to load. If it takes significantly longer than that, you could try to allocate more RAM or install it on SSD.
Hey, first off I love the pack. It's a good mix of newer minecraft while still keeping the wonderful nostalgia that TC used to give me back in the good ol days. However I'm wondering if you could implement tree capitator? And maybe veinminer as well. I played this pack for about 10 hours yesterday and I'm finding that those would be fantastic additions!

You could always download them yourself and throw them in the /mods/ folder (Not anyone working on the pack, its just an idea since some people may not want that and it may not get added (especially Vein Miner))
