Install Tekkit Classic

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekkit Classic) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekkit Classic from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Solution: Go to the search box in the technic launcher and look up "tekkit classic." Download it from there.

I have tried that and it is not listed and you can't download it from this website either

Tekkit Classic does not exist for 1.7.10. A lot of mods were changed dramatically or discontinued for the classic feel to still exist.

This modpack is for the minecraft version 1.2.5! LAN-Worlds didn't exist in that version

the server download works you just have to remove nether ores from the mods folder before you launch.

You need to add forestry and Applied Energiststics and the mod pack would be awesome.

I really liked this modpack. please bring it back. or at least put some of the major things that made this pack ausome into the new tekkit

@MILESFM I'm pretty sure he knows there's a new tekkit since he referred to it... The problem is it's completely different than the original. Almost none of the things that made me love the original are in the new one.
