can't get tekkit installed. it says "Failed to download http://http://resources.download.minecraft.net/ad/ad7d770b7fff3b64121f75bd60cecfc4866d1cd6" and tells me to consult the modpack author. new pc, windows 8.1. what am i doing wrong? and how do i overcome the problem? any help much appreciated

the only thing i can think of would be not enough RAM allocated, or not enough RAM on your PC.
pls i need help i cant play tekkit i click in the launcher and then play but it dont start pls someone help me

Assign more RAM. If you can't, get a better PC or an external processor bank.
Server no longer works like before, reason: [mod] does not have a MCVersion annotation,…, please help and fix.

i have tried making a server but it says could not reserve enough space for heap.
please someone help

I have run into this as well. It means that either you are trying to give it more RAM than your computer possesses, or that the RAM you have given it is not enough to run a server. It could also be that the RAM allocated is being taken up by another program. Hope this helps.
When i'm at the platform and click play, it opens the forgeloader taht says hello. Then it just crash. What do i do? It happens on more modpacks than this one.
UM WINDOWS 8 DOES NOT WORK FOR ANY TECNIC MOD PACKS WHAT DO I DO OR CAN YOU FIX IT?

Can anyone help me when I try to join any server it says "Failed to login: Bad login" or it says "End of stream" and it won't let me on! Please help

Hi, wehn you in the game ctrl presst than came End of stream.
Failed to login: Bad login came when you have online-mode=true instat online-mode=fals
i hope i coud help you

Except I am trying to play the modpack.
made my own server all seemed to work fine till i tried to craft a wooden cog it shows up on the craft table but does not let you put it in your invetory can someone help me please?

files.minecraftforge.net/LegacyJavaFixer/legacyjavafixer-1.0.jar throw this file info "mods" folder in yours server folder - this worked for me

I have a really annoying server issue, Ive managed to get the server running, but the mods are seriously out dated on it and wont let me enter it when I run *Localhost* in multiplayer. I haven't changed or even added any mods yet this is meant to come with Tekkit?
