Install Tales of the Wasteland

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tales of the Wasteland) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tales of the Wasteland from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

A post Apocalyptic Fallout/TMD Inspired Modpack

The Story: The Year is 2139 Years after a Nuclear war between the 6 Nuclear powers on Earth unfolded. A Desolate Wasteland is all that remains of our beautiful home world.

You a "Grounder" or person left on earth during the Human Extinction event have been surviving in the Wasteland alone for many years, until this day. You will join up with one of the Civilizations that have begun to rebuild on earth. Some plan on recolonizing it, others just want to control it. These Civilizations rose from the ashes of the United States of America, a once great nation long lost in time.

  1. Radiation (Minor damage is taken over time when not wearing a Hazmat suit and exposed to sunlight or Zombies.)
  2. Solar Flares (The earths sun (Sol) has become unstable, random bursts of Solar Radiation are fairly common on the surface.
  3. Acid Rain (Pollution and Radiation liter the air and water tables of the wasteland causing damage to anyone caught out in it. Survival Tip: (Wear a Raincoat))
  4. Mcmmo Skills (Level your skills in combat, resource gathering and other skills to gain power in the wasteland.)
  5. New Enemies! (Rad Scorpions, Wild Wolves, Snakes, Bears, and a few hostile Factions.)
  6. Questing! (Custom Quests are made using Custom NPC's and Hardcore quest book mod, follow the unique story and choose your fate!)
  7. Factions (Several Factions fight for control of the Wastelands last resources, some plan War while others leave for the stars.
  8. Towns (Join up with your friends and create a powerful town strong enough to rival the major factions of the Wasteland.)
  9. Space Travel (explore the entire solar system and beyond, find a new home if you believe earths no longer worth fighting for.)
  10. Thirst (continue the search for water as the supply dwindles.)
  11. Backpacks (Store up too 3 Large Backpacks on your person at a time!)
  12. ZRanks (Kill Zombies for Military Ranks)
