No, squids should spawn in normal way.
oh i see, is this a problem with my worlds specifically or is it an error in the actual modpack?
i've got a pretty big problem, for some reason whenever i play this modpack it takes up the entire screen and all control on my movement of my computer. i play on a macbook air and once this mod is loaded i cant minimize it nor can i swipe left or right to my desktop and pressing f3 or f4 to get out doesnt work either nor does ctrl + cmd + f which minimizes. the bigger problems involve the fact that i cant see my computer battery percentage and it removes the low battery message from appearing and also prevents me from changing volume level and the biggest problem of all is that if my computer turns off i cant type in my password unless i force shutdown my computer closing the modpack. i can still quit off the game from the "quit game" in minecraft but this is still very annoying, also i have tested and this ONLY happens with this specific modpack. pls help if there is a fix

for anyone else having this problem i fixed it by just simply pressing the in-game fullscreen button to off
You are right, my modpacik starts with fullscreen:true in the options.txt. If you dont want this, either press F11 ingame or change the options.txt to fullscreen:false and restart game.

That was because too many downloads on my dropbox account, so i had to create a new one ;)
