The server pack link seems to lead to a 404, is this fixable?
'Shadows' in the Imperial outpost tells me to go talk to the Commander, but I can't seem to find him. I assume he's in that vault security building, but the code is one I don't have and the NPCs just tell me to go talk to Shadows again. I must have to do something first, right? Or am I just totally mistaken-
The commander is Francisco. The current version is kind of bad because there's no interface between HQM and the NPC's. A new version will be coming out very soon that fixes lots of these issues.
Ohh, ok. That's no problem. I was sort of convinced I'd broken something. That's a relief...now let's find this guy, I am so bad at NPC names...
there is no way to produce the lead storage block for the quest "Staying Alive" in the tab, forbidden planet. the recipe currently makes a lead block.
Yeah, sorry about that, been meaning to push an update out to fix it but then I got sidetracked and now I'm remaking all the quests in better questing. I'm making very good progress and I hope to release it Soon. It will be an improvement over what there is now in every way.
also i cant use alot of repeatable functions within the quest book like abilities, for example all but 2 of the energy weapons skills have no redeem function.
Do you meet the requirements for them?
yes, I am certain that lv 100 skill in laser weapons meets their requirements. snarky comments aside it apears that just the repeatable buttions that change how the page in the book looks just dont apear, ill link some screenshots in another comment
I think I know what you mean. It wasn't always like that, but it might have happened with the most recent update of HQM. I'm in the process of overhauling everything at the moment, and skills will be fixed as such.
So, unless this pack is dead and abandoned, there is a bit of a bug I'd like to report. The commissar's uniform is beyond broken. Despite the description claiming it doesn't protect, it is unbreakable and absorbs all damage. Wearing it essentially makes you immortal. Falling into the void doesn't even help. Might wanna look into this :)
That's not good. I'm actually still working on finishing up the story, albeit slowly. I'll probably have to release a patch to take care of this and some other issues.
Yeah, cuz even though I love commissars I have to actively challenge myself to not use it. Feels kinda awful in a way. But whatever, so long as it's getting fixed :)
actualy it would be nice if non-space marine armor could still let 1 heart to 1/2 heart of damage through so short term combat with not end game gear is more realistic. for example, sitting there taking 200+ hits from a pinkie with fresh guardsman armor and not dieing until the armor breaks
it would also make constitution as a stat more valuable
Armor will probably be re-balanced in general with the next update. I like the idea of putting more emphasis on Con and +life stuff like stimpacks.

I will not becable to interract peacfully with Lost and Damned? Will i then complete the quest "Heart of Darkness? And about components to spacebridges: i was talking about singularity and rings. You complete heart of darkness as soon as you approach Burke. Killing her changes nothing, after completing the quest Lost & Damned are permanently hostile toward you. The singularity is an item you get from the matter condensor, wiki is here http://ae-mod.info/Singularity/ The ring doesn't actually have to be built, you just need to turn in the parts. You can check the recipes for them in game.
But the second part of it(quest) makes me to loose points with lost and damned...what should i do?
If you want to continue doing the Imperial questline you have to loose those points. Just keep going forward.
Hello, It's me again. I saw that another person had the same problem, but wasn't sure if that was fixed within the most recent update or not. I'm pretty sure that's from me using way more factions than the author intended to have used. I don't think there's a fix for it, and I may have to wait to port to 1.10+ before it's addressed.

No, I don't really have time to be an admin or I'd run one myself. If anyone wants to post theirs, I'd be glad to include the IP in the mod pack.
This mp is absolutaly awessome but it thera are some ingame problems i have. First of all is that its very difficult to learn how to craft things without crearive mode. Second thing is about duping. I know a lot of them,most of them I havent tried yet but trading mashines are hacking gamebrakers! I dupped a lot with em but it is kinda hurts my feelings that i cant stop doing it. And some small problems: why do stormbolter is so cheap to create?its so powerful but easy to make;and where i can find first credit data bank?As i understood its somewhere in admech bunker but where?how do i get components for the Andel quest for building spacebridges?is there any way to increase admech reputation different way that giving dust?its so slow!thx for future answers!
-As far as crafting things go, I'd recommend building project benchs for all the basic components. I deliberately made sure that mostly all things you craft pull from a limited pool of parts. Don't forget to make liberal use of the recipe check.
-Can you email me the info on how to dupe with the trading machines? I may be able to do something about it.
-Stormbolters are cheap but bolt shells are expensive, and out of all the bolt weapons, stormbolters are actually inaccurate, relatively speaking. They're very good up close, though.
-The first credit bank is in the Imperial vault, second level. You'll get the data if you go through the chain and talk to the bank woman. It's not in the Ad-mech bunker.
-Some spaceship components can be built and others can be found on buildings you find in the wasteland. The blocks you pull off the top of towers are very important for a lot of reasons, the spaceship being one of them.
-There's not too many ways to increase Ad-mech rep, but I will be adding more.
I accepted Burke quest in "peace" by no killing her and came to Francisco and recieved 2000 fp but what will happen if i go and kill her after this?will i complete the quest?
SPOILER: You're not really supposed to kill Burke, I intended people to lose that fight. There's not really any outcome if you kill her, she just comes right back.
But if i kill her i will complete quest heartvof dafkness?i wont be able to complete lost and damned ones?

Progress has been really slow for a while because I'm saddle with a bunch of building projects and that's not something I'm really enjoying. Also, I've been in the process of converting quests over to BQ but I've been having issues with it. I still intend on finishing it, I'm just not sure how long it will take. I'm sort of hoping flans updates to 1.10 or 1.12 so I can port it to that version.

Strange, but it's related to a line that adds the GUI for the modern work bench. You can find it in [server folder]/mods/CS2_IW. It's the file IW.js. Add a "//" before the first line, which is "mod.addGui("workBenchGui.js", "crafting");". That should fix it, but I really don't know anything about linux, so I can't be certain.

You're having some kind of issue with JSON settings, seemingly. Have you changed any of the settings? If not, try removing the chunk loader mod. You can probably add it back if you can get it to launch without crashing.

Go to the mods folder in C:\Users\[your computer name]\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\wh40k-blood-iron-pack and remove the mod ChickenChunks-1.7.10-1.3.4.16-universal. Launch the game and see if it works. If it does you can add the mod back and relaunch it, if it doesn't then send me the new error report.

I found a bug in Ab initio in melting pot quest.I made a carbon electrode but it looks like that the quest book doesnt detect it.I cant go on with quest and i cant get black crystal (i dont want to steal it).

I started the quest "war is hell" and I went to the coords (it said 0, 0, 0) to locate general ragnar at the entrance to the ruins of varakosh, i went the the coords there was only a teleport npc that took me to the nether where there was a dome with 2 exits, does that mean the quest is incomplete or did I miss something or does it only give you the right coords if you're level 20 because I did go when I wasn't at level 20 cause I didn't think it would make any difference except actually completing the quest on the coginator itself.
It was set to 0 0 0 because the pack is incomplete and act 4 is currently in the works. You've reached the end of the imperial questline. My suggestion is to use some admin/hqm commands to reset your book and play as chaos. Or you could start a new game and just copy/paste your base with worldedit (included in the pack for your convenience). I apologize for the wait on act 4 but a lot goes in to this pack, what with the story and all the static locations.

and i found them. One more question.If i update modpack is my congitator going to restart ?
The pack was updated so now you can get settlers by interacting with the town hall. It will issue a quest that you complete by talking to it again and having stuff like water, food and ammo on you. It will then give you a loot bag that when opened gives you one of ten settlers. The settlers you found are sort of special, they do unique things that most settlers don't and you can get them without having any mayor skill.
So only Mayor skills will restart (will be delated) and other quests that i made wont restart ?
Your quests should be fine, but I would urge you to make a backup just in case.
Well I updated the pack and now when i want to run or create new world

Can you post your error log? Is this on a server?
When i open crash-report folder it gives me server crash reports. I dont play on server i play on campaign.

You'd need to copy and paste the error logs contents so I can read it.
Try removing the mod chickenchunks and loading the map. You can add it back afterwards. Are you using a special launcher or have you added some mods or something? Your load order looks unusual.

This isn't for a server, but if you want to run one for it the server download is right beneath the likes/followers buttons.
Hi i love your modpack! How many year did take to made modpack like this ? And i have a question for you . I've made quest Major 1 how do i get settlers ? They just come to my town hall or do i have to find them in map and get them in my settlement?
It's taken way too long, I'm glad you're enjoying it. After some review I discovered that something was missing from the town halls dialog and you can't actually call for settlers. I'll throw it into the bugfix package that I'm releasing today.
i highly recommend getting build-craft onto this modpack solely for its piping system, that or a resources spliter block. the reason why is because build-craft had it where if you needed multiple outputs from one input, it would work but with the current piping systems, they either don't work properly with the blocks or they all shove their contents into the nearest container and to hell with any other blocks that need those same materials. this really is an issue when making complex materials where one resource is needed in separate locations in production but will only go to one of them and none of the others. RXD dust is one example of where i need the same resource in multiple locations and with specific ratios.
In other words... Manufactures are going to be really hard to build without some way of distributing the materials down multiple lines.
I highly suggest using applied energistics for any serious automation attempt. It's better than buildcraft in every way, especially performance wise. The only reason the pipes are in there at all is because I liked other things from the packs their in, but AE is definitely intended to be your automation mod.

is there an alternate thing that occurs if you fight the chaos leader and her four OP body guards and win? i want to know so that me and my friend don't just waste out time gearing up all in terminator armor and heavy bolters only to find out that it just breaks the game and we gotta reset to continue the story.
SPOILERS---------------------------------------------I can't honestly remember if I made her drop something cool or just lots of experience, but she instantly resurrects and taunts you, it doesn't break the game. Probably not worth gearing up to beat her, though. I'm not even sure if it's possible without cheating.
probably not possible alone but with a group of people all with terminator armor and heavy bolters or storm bolters and probably a few modifications to the gun should win if not do rediculous damage to her and her gaurds. i can get a group of 5 assembled to make an attempt at this and see what happens. also talking about groups, if you leave a group in the questline you bug your charicter out and can no longer do the quests or use a skill multiple times and things like that.
Groups break the game, and I usually advise against making them. It essentially gives people access to way too many skills and is totally unbalanced. I'd disable it if I could, mostly for server reasons. Outside of servers, I really don't care how people enjoy the game, but I do feel it would detract from the experience. Just my 2 cents.
