it apears as though several immersive engineering crafting recipies are broken. for example, the generator block and kenetic dynamo blocks.

Something's not right, they're showing up in my game. Type /mt reload and see if there's any errors.
it says "WARNING: 304 modifications stuck" and "scripts reloaded" but, every time i reload that number doesn't change.
technicly it does change becasue it goes up by 304 every time but that is probably becasue the counter function for it never had a reset function between reloads so that it displays the proper number
it is broken on the server but the recipies work in single player. you may have missed a fix with the server custom data that you made with the single player custom data... all the recipies that i had problems with before are here now but it still says 304 modifications stuck
so the recipies seem to be working in multiplayer, just tested it, but they dont show as a valid crafting option when you assemble them in the crafting table or when you search for their recipies with the "R" hotkey
it seems to just be the shaped crafting thats missing as the chem processor 3 wasnt for the conveyor belt
I'm not sure what's causing that. I'll mess around with NEI and the server for the next update. It's kind of snowballed into a bigger update than I intended, so I likely won't have a release ready until the weekend.
i wouldn't know what causes it but i would think that its server side more than client side with the whole missing crafting recipie or maybe the recipies only formaly register on single player :P
also i cant seem to improve the war readyness at all, me and my friend are at a loss
also the factions relations screen broke when i added settlers, it flashes something when i open its window but then the window goes blank
You can't improve readiness until you get access to the troops. It's after you confront Burke/the Administrator, you have to talk to a faction general to get the quest.

Idk, seems like a mod problem. I most likely added too many factions for it to correctly display and the settler faction just pushed it over the limit or something. I'll look into making fewer visible faction bars, that might be a fix.
how does one acquire a neural interface? is it looted or crafted or purchased? if its crafted, then we cant see the recipe and a screenshot of the recipe (or something) would be helpful.
What did you need it for? I think it may have been a legacy item, and if you need it for something I need to change that.
its needed in helmets, scoutt helmet and power armor helmet and terminator helmet.
Damnit, yeah it got removed with the vehicle update. Well, it's still there but the recipe won't work and it doesn't show in creative. I'll push an update today to fix it.
server lags horrificly when i attempt to host, it will have 30-60 seconds of time between lag spikes taht casue the server to skip ~300 ticks at a time. i adjusted the server memory from 2 gb to 5 gb and got it up to this point. at 2 gb the server would timeout every 5 seconds
my computer is a beast of 16 gb ram and a quad core overclocked i3 processor just in case you need to know

Is this with the latest build of the server? Does the console constantly say loading/unloading dimensions?
Just saw the screenshot. No idea what's causing that, definitely doesn't run it like that on mine and your build is better. What OS? Have you tried it on a different computer if you have one available?
i downloaded the server and reported my issues on the same day, so yes i believe its the latest so far.
My OS is windows 10.
it definately is something with the modpack itself as well though becasue i get lag during singleplayer where there will be 30 seconds per 2 minutes where i can walk/look/shoot but alot doesnt do anything until the 30 seconds are over. the stuff that doesnt work is shooting, opening inventorys, ai movement/interaction and general interaction
I'm at a total loss. The only diagnostic tool for 1.7.10 that I know of is opis, but even that probably won't make the problem obvious. I've not seen or heard of this issue before.
Client lag might have been from optifine. Just uploaded a new version that optimizes its settings. That may help client side at least.
whatever you did to the update fixed all my issues in 1 fell swoop. single player runs without stops and multiplayer runs equaly as fine. this was tested for only 30 minutes each, but it will get much more vigotous playtime *coughs* i mean testing to see if everything is fine.
By the way there is like 5 different combat knife items in the game, I wonder if the SPECIAL trigger has the wrong item number
Are you using the one you started the game with? It has to be the knife that does 3 damage, not one of the other ones. Forget about an earlier comment I made about NBT tags, it was incorrect.
Yes I have the dagger the game starts with and when I go to the quest to setup abilities and press manual submit it doesnt respond. created multiple games testing this with no luck. Feel like im missing a big part of this mod without that.
Damnit, somehow the most recent update did not have that fix. When I had someone else download it worked, but I have no idea what's going on now. I'll re-upload the fixed version. Sorry man.

the update ruined my quest progression. when I restarted it wouldnt let me submit dagger for SPECIAL quest to set stats. also still getting chunk loading bugs
The map should have backed up before you ran it, so if you want to salvage your game I can tell you how and link you the legacy files. Email me at [email protected]. I'll look into the dagger thing, but it def won't work if you put any mods on it. I have no idea what's causing these chunk loading bugs. I removed fastcraft, which I know is a culprit on some computers. Try turning your view distance or graphics down, I know that can have an effect on it. Turning available memory up on the technic launcher may help as well
im using tecnic launcher no other mods. let me clarify tho, not sure im getting chunk loading errors but I am getting blocks going clear so I can see thru the world, this happens frequently. ill try lower view distanct. still cant do the SPECIAL quest with the dagger.

Sometimes the chunks don't load for me. It happens randomly, I could join a world one day and some chunks don't load. It's really annoying because I can't advance further.
Try removing optifine. The only way I know of stopping it otherwise is to leave and come back.
Come to think of it, it could also be fastcraft. I'd bet on either fastcraft or optifine being the culprits. They're both supposed to improved performance, but on some computers they really mess with graphics.
did you reconstruct the world gen to create the basis for this?
standing and readyness, are they implemented, i give the guy imperial commendations and get 100 standing but the bar wont move.
Yeah they're implemented, but two separate things. The commendations boost your ranking with the faction, readiness is how well prepared for war the faction is. Faction ranking doesn't mean much right now, but act 4 will make a little better use of it. You can only get readiness up after a certain point in the story, and you do it by turning in resources through quests in the questbook. There is a whole questline dedicated to readiness and raising troops of various types.
i did some of both and theyre still zero, also i cant find the bank, must have looked everywhere but where the bank is.
Readiness will show up in your questbook. You do have to claim it as a reward for it to work. Faction ranking should show up in your NPC mod menu.
I just made a new world gen from scratch for all the biomes.

I'm probably going to be releasing an update this week that covers act 3, adds a lot of new stuff, brings vehicles back, and adds a system kind of like fallouts, where you have experience, levels, skills and so on. Ripley - The crash has something to do with code doors. It should be fixable by resetting your characters position, or by starting a new map. What were you doing with the code door when it crashed? I've never seen an error like that before.
I strongly suggest using original models for the flans weapons/vehicles cause it would make this modpack alot more unique, and could bring some extra attention and it could even be released separately outside of the modpack.
I'd like to, but I don't have the knowledge, time or artistic ability to make original models. For an idea of what I mean when I say I don't have the artistic ability look at the power armor or terminator models.
So when I got the book LUCY LOOK HERE it wouldnt submit any tips on how to fix that?
That sounds like a bug I had a while back but was fixed in a recent update. How old is your map? I'll double check it just to make sure.
I have that problem too, did you try to submit while you where still in the comm center? I wondered if you had to try while you where still in building.
No, you should be able to submit it at any time. At what point did you download the game? I thought I fixed this bug but I may have to update it again if I somehow missed it.

Yeah there's a pretty good chance that was before the fix. However, I'm going to release something tonight that should fix it for people who have old maps.
The game crashes as soon as it starts initializing CoFH Core. Any idea why this might be? I am using the latest version of the pack.
For some reason it does that to me on my older computer. I had to remove it to play on there. I don't know why it does that on certain machines but not on others.

The server folder was lost around the time I closed it down. It didn't work anyway, it had a bad memory leak. The only reason it ran as long as it did was because I had gotten us a ton of memory.
