I think it is just Aura cascade that is causing you problems. If you are only going to use single player I would suggest getting rid of aura cascade and then try loading the modpack it should work because it is saying that it is corrupted.

I would recommend waiting for the update and seeing if it fixes the problem.

Sadly I'm trying to join a server; presumably I won't be able to join if I alter which mods are enabled? And when is the update expected?

This would be nice to know, we are working on a large YouTube series and a private server with this mod pack, but we need the file to actually make it.

Sadly it is 1.8 and most of the other mods in the pack aren't updated to 1.8
