Hey guys! So me and some other people are going to work on a full scale MAGIC SCHOOL on the server when it is done noobs, intermediate, pros can learn magic!
I'd appreciate if you didn't steal the idea, that was already being worked on by myself, and a few others.
yes. just as michael said we have already had this idea. we have been working on it for a while. please do not steal this idea.
Me and some other people aka you micheallow and yang in schoolofwizardry I just wanted to inform everyone about it thats all I am fine it is your idea anyway ;)
Btw this is KheperHeru so thats why I told people.
Actually I should have said MichealLow is making a school for the server.

There's a few things that need to be fixed. First, not being able to claim on the server isn't that bad. In my vanilla fac server I play on, I live inside a mountain and place dirt to hide the entrance. I do the same thing here, and I've played for a few weeks and haven't gotten raided. Someone has even built a house like 10 blocks away from my entrance and they didn't find me! Second, some mods needed to be added. Basic mods and of course witchery! Morph mod gives a magical feel, like taking the life of a creature then turning yourself into it. That, and I wish there were a bit more servers, so people could go to different ones so lag is prevented. These are the only bad things, besides better maps and tree capitator.

Witchery and tree capitator are some good mods on that list but morph mod sounds like a cheaty mod because it gives you the ability to fly to easily and would make some of the things that people have done in the modpack a waste of their time. A few things, The Gaia spirits are gotten from killing the nature gaurdian from, bontania and with gaia spirits you can make wings but for all those people that already did that they will not be happy, in thaumcraft there is something called a thaumstic harness it make it possible to fly but not to oply, in blood magic there are 2 sigils one is called the air sigil which enables a little flight and one called the flight sigil which is a extremly hard to get which enables flight like creative mode. Morph mod is just a cheaty mod to me so I personally wouldn't want it added in.
3 mods suggestions, Witchery, treecapacitator and a better minimap like zan's or mapwritter since reisminimap causes some memory leaks

Why is the server offline right now I mean its a saturday everyone would be playing.
REIDJR100 can you add the witchery and forbidden magic mod that would make this mudpack even better.

From what I heard forbidden magic used to be in but it kept crashing, and if you payed ANY attention, you would know what witchery is going to be added soon

My opinion on this server is good and bad.
When I first joined this server, I noticed that some/most people of the community are helpful and not brainless zombies, but after 6 hours of played time on the server, my opinion never changed. I had gone off to go out with friends and by the next morning I got back I noticed that my faction was stolen from and everything was griefed. I decided then to tell the faction leader, and stayed off for a few more days as I wasn't bothered to recover and make everything. I logged on today to see that all my chests have been wiped clean and reported to an admin I was basically told to "Watch out for who you invite in the future" (Which I had 0 control over) & nothing could be done about it. At that moment I figured what my time would be like if I continued to play this server. I would build up a big inventory just to have it stolen away by a new guy while I was offline and have to start over and it would continue.
As I have said the community is great except for those who like to steal from their own faction and then leave to gain a better advantage.
My suggestion is to atleast have some rules on infaction griefing or stealing off other faction members for their relatives faction (Yes I know who had griefed the faction just to help out his sister).
Sry thats factions, but I suggest you start a faction with friends and people that you trust.
Can Someone make a Server addon so we can just make our own servers to play with friends?

ITs easy to make a server out of any pack. Simply download the client server then remove all client side mods. Grab cauldron and your good to go

I think the server should try out a plugin called grief prevention (The one with the golden shovel)

You can't raid with grief prevention.
But the people who where able to claim before you stopped it can't be raided either
Can we get a link for a server download? The modpack itself would become more popular in my opinion if there were more servers that wouldn't be down and less laggy.

I couldn't agree more, but we'd like to have a rough estimate of when it'll be up. That'd be great.
Turn the server on. I dont care about claiming i jsut want to play leave it on PLEASE.
